MONTPELIER — Lobbyist, lawyer and former Montpelier School Board chairman John Hollar said he will publicly announce his candidacy for mayor today at Onion River Sports at 12:30 p.m.
In an interview Monday, Hollar said that he’s socially progressive and fiscally conservative.
He calls himself a moderate.
“I bring a pretty cautious approach to fiscal matters,” he said, while maintaining a socially liberal philosophy.
