MONTPELIER — On Wednesday night, following the nearly five-hour City Council meeting, Capital City resident Thierry Guerlain said he's going to run against incumbent councilor Nancy Sherman for the district two council seat she's held for 10 years.
Guerlain is one of the founders of a group of Montpelier residents who have been pestering the City Council to cut the city's budget and to reduce property taxes.
Check back later, and I'll have more about Guerlain and his run for elected office.
He has until Feb. 6 to collect 25 signatures from district two registered voters to qualify to run.
