MONTPELIER — They were there from the beginning, protesting the Iraq War. But Friday was their last day, their last vigil.
Even before the war began, Jules Rabin, 87, and his wife, Helen, 71, of Marshfield, were protesting it.
They did so by holding a peace vigil in front of the Montpelier post office on State Street every Friday at noon for an hour.
