MONTPELIER — The Montpelier School Board is being asked to cut teaching staff at the high school, but some board members are reluctant to go along with the superintendent’s plan.
At Wednesday’s board meeting, Superintendent Brian Ricca once again tried to make his case that reductions in teaching staff are necessary at the high school.
He said it’s not even an issue of money, or this year’s particular budget, as much as that the high school is overstaffed.
“Students are simply not coming through the doors,” Ricca told the School Board.
