oops

In my preview of today's home opener at the Barre Auditorium for your reigning ABA champion Vermont Frost Heaves, I have the Montreal Royal at 0-1, when they are really 0-2, having lost in overtime to Boston, 122-119, last Saturday. Thanks Joe.

In other ABA news, and only I, a raging UMass Minutemen fan born of the Refuse to Lose era, would find this terrific. The expansion Manchester Millrats signed former Minuteman Anthony Anderson on Tuesday. Anderson, a talented point guard, played at UMass-Amherst from 2001-2005. I saw him play whilest I was at Springfield and interning in Northampton at the Daily Hampshire Gazette, the go-to paper for UMass sports (check out my friend Matt's UMass blog at gazettenet.com under sports and UMass sports, he's random and one of my favorites). Anderson, I think, may have been a foe of fellow Atlantic 10 players John Bryant, Dwayne Lee and former Frost Heave Tyrone Barley, who all played at St. Joseph's (Pa.). I'm not sure if all of their collegiate careers coincided...
