While reporter Christian Avard was covering Saturday's party celebrating Rutland's 250th, he noticed that someone put a sign on a fence that said, "You know you're from Rutland if ..." and people were encouraged to write something.
One person singled out Rutland Herald photographer A.J. Marro.
Actually, the sign could read, "You know you're in Rutland" (or anywhere in central or southern Vermont for that matter) when you see A.J. They guy is everywhere.
A.J. remains the only photographer I've ever known who had to shoot two graduations at different schools at the exact same time and was back in the office 10 minutes after they started with photos from both events.
