  •   Black River Today is blogged by Ralph Pace who lives in Ludlow with his wife of 49 years, Janet, and a dog named Devi. He enjoys gardening (but not lawns-there's a big difference), skiing (when he can drag himself to the slopes), and editing his personal blog (http://viewfromludlow.blogspot.com) along with this blog. He also cohosts a weekly news TV program on LPC-TV, Channel 8, called "That Was The Week That Was" (TW3). Taped segments of TW3 may be viewed at www.lpctv.org. Friends of FML Book Discussion Oct. 20

The Friends of the Fletcher Memorial Library in Ludlow are pleased to announce their Third Thursday program for October. It will take place at 7pm on Thursday evening  on October 20. Scott Stearns is  a local resident and one of the proprietors of the Book Nook on Main Street in Ludlow. Scott will discuss upcoming books to be published soon, some by favorite authors and some by new writers. He will have many suggestions to help us decide "what to read" during the long coming winter. Please use the rear entrance to the library where there is plentiful parking with a ramp outside and an elevevator inside.
