Ludlow saw its first snow of the season Thursday night into Friday. It was the very wet, heavy variety that bends birches and can be very slippery on pavement. Pictured above is a birch, still with half of its leaves, bending under the weight of about 5 inches of wet snow. The forecast is calling for a "sorta" noreaster Saturday night to really kick off the season!
