The Okemo Valley Golf Club's Men's League continued Tuesday evening, June 1, with the top spot in the match play format going to Sanderson Contracting. Dave Higley, Bob Higgins, Ken Guy and Bob Herbst combined for 24 holes won. Second place went to Built Rite MFG, with John Smith, John Taylor, Curtis Conover and Chuck Sweetman winning 23 ½ holes. Third place went to M&M Excavating .Charlie Dickerman, Walt Spinrad, Mike O'Neil and Bruce Verdrager combined for 22 holes won. It doesn’t get any closer to the pin than John Smith’s ace on the fourth hole. It was Smith’s first career hole-in-one Closest to the pin on the 8th hole went to Tim Faulkner.
