MONTPELIER — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for information that results in the arrest and prosecution of the person, or persons, who robbed the Champlain Farms on Feb. 7 by gunpoint.
The suspect is described as a thin black male, approximately 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall with facial hair. The suspect wore a ski mask, gloves, and a blue hooded sweat shirt with white lettering during the robbery.
The suspect brandished a handgun during the crime and fled on foot with a sum of cash.
Police are asking anyone with information about this robbery to contact the Burlington Vermont ATF at 802-865-4020 during business hours or the Montpelier Police Department at 802-223-3445.
