MONTPELIER — The Yoga Mountain Center has a pre-natal yoga class tonight at 5:30.
Move, stretch and breath your way into a healthy birth, the yogi's website says.
The benefits of pre-natal yoga are easing common discomforts such as hip pain, nausea, lower back pain and more.
The class is to last one and a half hours and taught by Amy LePage-Hansen.
All levels of yogi are welcome. Yoga Mountain Center is located at 7 Main St. across the street from Shaw's.
This is my second baby, soon. In my first pregnancy, I was hesitant to join activities like this but it was my cousin who forced me to. During my labor, my doctor was so surprise that I wasn't experiencing the normal pain of first time moms. It was because of the yoga. Now, I won't hesitate anymore to join!
