MONTPELIER — Barring an extraordinary write-in campaign, John Hollar will be Montpelier’s next mayor.
Hollar, a lobbyist and former Montpelier School Board chairman, is running unopposed to replace Mary Hooper, who is stepping down.
Only two out of nine city races are competitive this year.
