MONTPELIER — The Public Works Department has put out to bid the project to replace the now defunct pedestrian bridge that spans the Winooski River and is located between Taylor Street and Bailey Avenue.
The bridge, built in 1998, was deemed unsafe last year and closed.
Engineering and construction firms have until 4:30 p.m. April 12 to submit their proposal.
More details about the project are available here.
