The Harwood athletic department's 3-on-3 basketball tournament and related festivities raised over $2,000 for longtime Highlander softball coach Fred LaRock this weekend. LaRock was diagnosed with lung cancer recently and the event was held to raise funds for him and his family as they incur tremendous expenses through the course of his treatment.
I got an email today from athletic director Sue Duprat, who wanted people to know the silent auction items will remain on the auction block until tomorrow at noon.
From her email:
Items can be viewed and bid on in Wendy Gilbert’s office… there are some great items, including Ski lift passes to Stowe and Mad River Glen, a Rocket Snowshoe adventure for four, and a Keurig Coffee maker… plus lots more.
