BURLINGTON — Burlington High School is postponing or moving several athletic events after some flooding was reported at the gym.
Athletic Director Jeanne Hulsen said school officials are concerned about possible damage to the wood floor after a water fountain inside the gym’s main door was left on during the weekend.
Some water also made it into the girls’ locker room underneath the gym floor.
Varsity and junior boys basketball games against Spaulding scheduled for Monday at Buck Hard Gym have been now rescheduled for Feb. 18.
The Rice Memorial High School vs. Burlington girls varsity and junior varsity basketball games scheduled for Tuesday will be played at Rice, instead.
A Thursday basketball game also has been moved to BFA-St. Albans.
