Freezing rain ahead

Freezing rain and drizzle is headed to parts of Vermont.

The National Weather Service has issued an advisory for the Northeast Kingdom and parts of central and southern Vermont.

The forecast calls for freezing rain or drizzle Monday afternoon and night that will make for tough driving conditions.

The advisory is in effect in the northeastern part of the state as well as Washington, Lamoille, Bennington, Windsor and Windham counties until midnight.
