Middlebury musicians in THT Cabaret

MIDDLEBURY — Daniel Mench-Thurlow and Eben Schumacher became fast friends when they realized they shared something special. Unlike most 16-year olds, their musical tastes reach back to The Allman Brothers, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, and Eric Clapton. When they played this music on their guitars, with Eben handling the vocals, it sounded good – and Loose Change was born.
Now the Middlebury Union High School students are coming to downtown Middlebury, when they play in the Town Hall Theater Cabaret on Friday, Jan. 6, at 7 p.m. It’s the first time high school students have been invited to play in the THT Cabaret, an intimate venue on the lower level of the theater. They’re also accomplished songwriters and will play a number of original tunes.
