School hosts Burlington, Vt., mayor forum

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Some of Burlington, Vt.’s, youngest residents will get a chance to questions the candidates for city mayor.
Fourth- and fifth-graders at the Sustainability Academy at Lawrence Barnes School will hold a mayoral forum on Monday.
The three candidates for mayor — Democrat Miro Weinberger, Republican Kurt Wright and Wanda Hines, an independent — will answer questions from students.
The hour-long forum starts at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.
