The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering $5,000 for information resulting in the successful arrest and prosecution of the armed robber of the Champlain Farms on Memorial Drive in Montpelier on Feb. 7.
The suspect is described as a thin black male, about 5'3" to 5'6", with facial hair, who wore a ski mask, gloves and a blue hooded sweatshirt with white lettering during the robbery.
The suspect displayed a handgun during the robbery and escaped on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the store.
