Conn. man arrested for mischief in Northfield

NORTHFIELD — A Connecticut man was arrested on charges of unlawful mischief in Northfield.
Police report, Joseph Gumbrewicz, 21, of Oxford Conn., was arrested on charges of unlawful mischief on Feb. 16 following large fight on VT Route 12A.
Upon arrival of the scene police reported people were going everywhere and some were injured. During the investigation Gumbrewicz was named as the subject who intentionally broke out the rear window of a vehicle not belonging to him. When Gumbrewicz was interviewed he admitted to breaking the window and advised he was angry at the time.
Gumbrewicz was cited to appear in court in March to answer to the charge. An investigation into the fight is ongoing.
