East Dorset store broken into

EAST DORSET — State Police from Shaftsbury responded to an alarm activation at the East Dorset General store shortly before midnight on Sunday. Upon arrival, they found a broken window, searched the store with the help of a K-9 team, found it was empty.

It is unclear at this time if anything was taken, but it appears the offender or offenders was/were scared off by the alarm.  Police are reviewing surveillance video at the store.

State Police were assisted by Manchester Police at the scene.
