The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a Winter Storm Watch from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 7 p.m. Thursday for all of northern New York and Vermont.
The NWS is saying moderate snow with mixed precipitation are expected with snow totals of 4 to 8 inches possible and localized tallies of 10 inches possible in south-central Vermont.
The service says snow will begin late in the day Wednesday and become moderate at times Wednesday night into Thursday. Some mixed precipitation could fall in part of northern New York late Wednesday into Thursday.
Expect hazardous driving conditions with wind gusts up to 30 mph.
Temperatures will be in the mid-20s Wednesday night and mid-30s Thursday.
