— Shall the town vote to approve the use of surplus funds from the bridge replacement and Green Mountain National Forest accounts, the amount not to exceed $200,000, to make the former St. Robert’s Church useable as a town office?
— Shall the town accept a $300,000 grant award to design and build a shared use public safety pathway by approving local matching funds of $16,600 per year for the next five years, the amount to be reduced by any other grants or incomes received for such purpose?
— Shall the town of Chittenden vote to urge the Vermont Congressional Delegation and the U.S. Congress to propose a U.S. Constitutional amendment for the state’s consideration which provides that money is not speech, and that corporations are not persons under the U.S. Constitution, that the General Assembly of the state of Vermont pass a similar resolution, and that the town send its resolution to Vermont state and federal representatives within 30 days of passage of this measure?
Contested races
First constable, and incumbent, Harley Soulia faces second constable Timothy Nolan for the position. Roland “Skip” Smith and Elmer Wheeler, Jr., are running for the open road commissioner position.
