WILLIAMSTOWN — A Williamstown woman is facing criminal charges after she was allegedly caught driving when she shouldn’t have been over the weekend.
Police say they pulled over a car driven by April Otis, 29, for a “display of plates” violation on McGlynn Road late Saturday afternoon. During the course of stop, which occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m., police determined Otis was driving with a criminally suspended license.
According to police, Otis’ license was suspended for “numerous counts of failure to pay fines, points and insurance.” She was arrested, transported to the state police barracks in Middlesex and later released with a citation. She is scheduled to be arraigned on April 4 at the criminal courthouse in Chelsea.
