Just a couple of quick points I wanted to share to start the week.
- I had someone tell me last week that City Hall was out of the city's annual reports - the little white booklet that contains everything from the reports of department heads to employee salaries to delinquent tax accounts. That's untrue. In fact, they're sitting in plain view on a table outside the treasurer's office, and the ladies in the clerk's office tell me they have boxes more.
- Starting Monday, PEGTV will begin airing 15-minute interviews with the aldermanic candidates that I conducted last week (part of the reason why I was so scarce on this blog.) I tried to stay on the same line of questioning with each candidate in order to give us all some basis for comparison and I hope the interviews are of some use as you're making your choices. You can also watch them on demand on PEGTV's Web site. That link brings you right to the search field, where your best bet is to type the name of the show "running for alderman" sans the quotes.
