Courcelle-Gage goes to court

I am told a court hearing on the Courcelle-Gage recount is scheduled for 3 p.m. I'll try to provide an update here after it's done.

On a tangential note, I wonder how long until an entire recount process can go by without a single "hanging chad" joke. At least there aren't as many of them now -- somebody feels obliged to make one and then it's usually over with.

Update @ 4:53 p.m.: Judge Teachout rejected requests to examine ballot bags from the other city disctricts and to examine spoiled ballots, but Gage can still take his case to the Legislature. The full story will be in tommorrow's Herald.
