As it says on the front page of the website, a local group just turned in a petition for a revote of the Giorgetti bond. Full coverage will appear in tommorrow's paper.
John Mattison, who handed over the petition and spoke for the group after, said they went door to door to gather the needed signatures over 10 to 12 days and I have to say I'm impressed. That's a lot of signatures in a short span of time, especially since I haven't spoken to anyone who saw the petition in one of the city's traditional gathering-places.
The quote in the title of this post are Mattison's words, and he said his crew is prepared for a get-out-the-vote campaign.
