Naturally, it wasn't until after the Public Safety Committee meeting on medical marijuana dispensaries that I learned of the newest RAND Corporation study on the subject.
The study used the closing of dispensaries in Los Angeles to test the claim that dispensaries are responsible for an increase in crime in the neighborhoods that host them.
The result? Without a dispensary in the neighborhood, crime went up.
