Quote of the Week

"The concept of setting all these budgets in the same night sounded a lot better six months ago, didn't it?"

-Alderman Sean Sargeant as the board took its third break at 9:30 last night. The final budget meeting started at 5:30.

The full story on the meeting will appear in (big surprise since I already mentioned it last night) tomorrow's paper.
