Aldermen in brief

Some results of last night's Board of Aldermen meeting:

  • The board approved the proposed rules for the Tropical Storm Irene Relief Fund.
  • The board did not approve using Zamias money for police cars. See tomorrow's paper for details.
  • There was a sometimes-heated discussion of the parking changes. Also see tomorrow's paper for details.
