About that solar meeting...

I botched something in the column today, and want to make sure everybody knows that the Community and Economic Development Committee meeting on the proposed solar power project is on Wednesday. Sorry about that, folks.

Meanwhile, check tomorrow's paper for some news about Combination Pond.

It seems to me the City would get a pittance for the proposed solar installation. If the old poor farm is a good site and solar is a good use of the property, I'd like to see us get more out out of the deal than a penny per kilowatt-hour.
